Building the Workforce Together...
Struggling with a Talent Problem?
Today's workforce challenge is unprecedented. Employers struggle to find workers, workers face a lack of job opportunities, and the economy is in a state of confusion. Still, industries such as manufacturing and the trades will require far more skilled professionals than there are people to fill those jobs.
We offer resources and solutions for manufacturers and employers in the trades to help build the work force, upskill their current employees, and support managers and leaders at every step.

It Starts HERE
Our past approach to finding, developing, and retaining skilled employees won't work.. Employers must recognize the three most viable sources for current and future talent. Find out what it takes to build your business.

Rebuilding America's Workforce
Our country depends on a competent and reliable workforce in manufacturing and the trades. An aging workforce, shifting career interests, and fewer workers require us to take an accelerated approach to developing both current and future employees.
We Can Help
Please Pardon Us While We Set Up Shop
Though we've been working on this effort for the past few years, Partners in Manufacturing just set up shop. We have a few more details to add to our webpage, so in the meantime, please stay in touch and let us know if we can help. Thanks!
Join the Manufacturing Movement
We bridge the gap between employers, educators, and students to help achieve the best from participants. For employers, it's difficult to find, attract, and retain good talent. Workers often find it challenging to enter careers or find jobs that meet their goals. Outside supporters like government, associations, and others may not know how best to help. Here, we bring everyone together for the same goal.

Employers
We advocate for manufacturers and connect them directly to students. Tours, work-based learning experiences (e.g., interns), and classroom connections are only a few things we do.

Educators
It takes more than the school walls to prepare graduates for the workplace. Hands-on experience, real-world exposure, and connection to employers are crtitical elements to any CTE program.
We can bring the missing piece to your career connections.

Students
Looking for no-nonsense advice for careers in manufacturing, the trades, engineering, and more? You've come to the right place. We get you information directly from employers and connect you with them. Let's get you prepared for what's next - prepare for what employers REALLY want.
Partners in Manufacturing
Are you ready to solve the workforce problem?
The talent shortage won't take care of itself on its own. Successful companies recognize the best sources of talent and invest heavily in time, money, and other resources to make it happen. They effectively "grow" their own talent and create multiple pathways for new employees to rise to their needs.
Industries
Our services and efforts help employers and educators develop competecies that prepare them for multiple career pathways. While most services overlap other trades and industries, the following are primary industries with whom we work.
Education
We help educators prepare students for careers. Whether it's K12, college, university, apprenticeships, or others, we provide resources and help connect to employers.
Engineering
Manufacturing requires engineers. There are several types such as mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, metalurgical engineers, and so many more! The industry also requires designers and other para-professionals that perform similar work. We help them all.
Manufacturing
Our primary focus is to develop, grow, and sustain skilled talent in manufacturing. Careers in production and manufacturing have the potential for great pay and benefits. We help employers, educators, and individuals meet critical talent needs.

HIGHER COSTS DUE TO SHORTAGES
Companies may face higher costs due to investing in automation, training, and potentially higher wages to attract and retain workers. It's important to do it the right way.
SKILLED WORKERS IN DEMAND
While automation can address some labor needs, it also requires skilled workers to operate and maintain the technology. Industry will ALWAYS require skilled workers and professionals.
THE SHORTAGE IS PERMANENT
By 2030, the manufacturing industry is projected to need to fill 4 million jobs, with a potential 2.1 million of those going unfilled.
